DinoQuest!

Last weekend, we met up with Tim, Kaela, Gwynn, and Alexus to hike thru Fontenelle Forest. This hike started out just like any other, but it quickly took dangerous turn! Little did we know there were dinosaurs prowling the park grounds!

Brendt and I, blissfully unaware of the dangers lurking deep in Fontenelle Forest.

Kaela and Alexus sure look tough. Good thing they were with us!

I'm not sure what I'm doing....

Gwynn played a lovely tune on the xylophone.

And then off we went into the woods...

We quickly ran across our first dinosaur! I think this one's an herbivore.

They even had flying dinos in the park!

Brendt is reading the name of the dino but I can already tell him what it is called....

It's the rarely photographed Feasaurus Rex!!! Easily identifiably by the sagging stomach and tendency to nest in inconvenient spaces.
Pronunciation key for Kaela: Fay-UH-sore-us Rex

It's a mite-size dino. Also known as a dino-mite. Hehe, couldn't resist.

In the background is an Allosaurus, my favorite dinosaur as a kid. The Allosaurus is basically just a girly version of the T-Rex.

Some cute little guys.

Alexus found a nest.

Not sure that Gwynn was all that excited about the dinosaurs, but she was pretty excited to walk the balance beam.

Bellevue Dog Park
Just a few shots from the dog park by our house. Our Saturday morning routine has become grabbing drive-thru coffee and then taking the boys to the park to run off some energy. I tried to get some action shots of the dogs running at the camera.

This shot is the big open field next to the fenced in park. We actually walk the dogs thru this field a lot as well since there is a ton of hiking trails thru those trees.

An awesome picture of Kurt who is tying the knot next Thursday! Congrats, lil' bro!
